A new musical currently in development.​

Harriet is sixteen, sharp-witted, and tired of being poor. When her mother, Emma, drags them to the slums of Elephant and Castle to hide from the law, Harriet doesn't see squalor. She sees opportunity.

She discovers "The Elephants," a gang of glamorous, tough-as-nails women who terrorise the West End shops by day and rule the underworld by night. Led by the formidable matriarch Julia, they live by a simple code: Life comes free of charge, but living must be earned.

As Harriet rises through the ranks from "Fresh Meat" to the gang's most daring thief, she catches the eye of Officer Cooper, a young cop torn between his duty and his heart. But when the law closes in, Harriet and Emma must decide what they are willing to sacrifice, and whether freedom is something you are given, or something you have to steal.

The Score

The show's music slams the grit of 1890s London into the adrenaline of a modern pop concert. It’s an irreverent, edgy pop score that refuses to play by the rules.

This is definitely not a polite period piece. Rather, it is a musical heist that captures the explosive energy of the gang—full of anthems for women who take what they want, surprising melodies, and infectious rhythms.
